KFC

KFC is the world's most popular restaurant chain specializing in chicken products and is part of the international Yum! Brands group.

The brand is operated under a franchise system by Sphera Franchise Group, a leader in the Romanian food service market, which manages the KFC franchise in Romania, as well as in certain regions of Italy and the Republic of Moldova.

KFC entered the Moldovan market in December 2008 with the opening of its first restaurant in the Malldova shopping center in Chișinău. The expansion continued in December 2015 with the opening of a second street-side restaurant, also in the capital, and in September 2024, a food court restaurant was opened in the Port Mall shopping center. 

Throughout its more than 15 years of activity, KFC Moldova has constantly invested in modernizing its restaurants and improving the customer experience by adopting digital solutions and state-of-the-art technologies. The company also actively contributes to the local economy, creating over 100 direct jobs and supporting other positions through collaborations with local suppliers.
